Jani Nikula's patch works fantastically to fix color-range detection over
native DisplayPort connections. I fully encourage anyone here to read Jani's
patch notes, the fix is quite interesting. I am, however, unable to get
full-range color over DP-LSPCON->HDMI, and currently cannot accurately test
LSPCON due to the following bug:

discussion back to this thread, as my original bug report concerned only native
DisplayPort color-range handling.
