Getting latest 4.20-rc6 sources, trying "make oldconfig" and answering "n" to
all questions, makes an installable kernel that produce the same "out of
memory" error as before on boot.

I'll try clone the drm-tip and checkout the commit
"2f99c4889e4124f9cf50b745d037f432318c4bb4" and build that instead.
