[Bug 104513] freezes with dual monitors

In the meantime I have a bit more information.

First of all the hang also occurs if I run one of the monitors at a lower
resolution.

Also I had hangs where there was no drawing on one of the monitors.

Finally, I had hangs with dmesg output. In most of the cases one of the last
messages did refer to

  [drm:intel_plane_atomic_calc_changes [i915]]

with various values. As example is
