Seeing this on a Lenovo X1 Carbon running Archlinux after upgrading to
4.14.14-1. I logged into gnome-shell like usual. However, twice in the last 30
minutes my external monitor flashed black (Dell P2715Q, 4k at 60hz <- HDMI ->
Kensington SD4600P usb-c hub <- USB-C -> Laptop). dmesg has this output:
