Yes, please fix this properly even if it takes more time. Meanwhile, does
upgrading to a newer kernel version help with the problem in any way? I'm
running upstream Linus kernels, so upgrading a kernel is not a problem. With
Mesa and other userland I'm more stuck with what is available from distros,
e.g. Debian testing.
