Could you provide a full dmesg for the 4.15 boot (booting with drm.debug=0xe
and making sure the dmesg log buffer is big enough to contain the PM:
hibernate/resume sequence too)?

It'd be great if you could also try
the drm-tip branch from git://anongit.freedesktop.org/drm-tip  .
