Hi, Elizabeth i only have access to the LTS kernels and current mainline, so
i'm unable to test with kernel 4.13.

Ville, the output of that command returns "00".

The screen still isnt working after reboots and typing the command. Here is the
configs used by my current kernel, which has already
CONFIG_DRM_DP_AUX_CHARDEV=y set.
