This is the type of bug that becomes impossible to manage and fix. It started
as a single issue with a single patch to fix it (and the patch was even acked),
but as you read the comments you realize it has become a dump for every single
type of problem related to FBC: different machines, different types of error
messages, different bugs, etc.

The fact that there's absolutely no bisection of the many different problems
make it even worse. I'll repeat: FBC worked 100% reliably at some point and
every single problem is a regression.

We should probably categorize all the different problems, split them into
different bugs and then bisect.
