Wow, initcall_debug already shows a big improvement.

$ sudo dmesg | grep -i i915_init
[    2.488902] calling  i915_init+0x0/0x59 [i915] @ 281
[    2.488958] initcall i915_init+0x0/0x59 [i915] returned 0 after 14 usecs
```
