I'm using Dell Precision 7520 laptop + Dell e-Port replicator dock with two
exactly same monitors and got different color ranges on them. One of dock
output is connected to integrated Intel card and another one is connected to
nvidia graphcis  (using nouveau). 

I spent a few weeks playing with different cables, different monitors, trying
to adjust gamma, trying to switch from nouveau to nvidia blob. 

And finally found that followed command fixes it for me:

xrandr --output HDMI-1 --set "Broadcast RGB" "Full"

It's really not funny and looks horrible from user point of view.
