fatez: For some reason, I could not get to the Grub menu on my installation.
So, here's what I did:

1. sudo nano /etc/default/grub
2. Find the line that says GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="". Add the following between the
quotes: drm.debug=0x1e log_buf_len=4M
   NOTE: If there's already text between the quotation marks, just add the text
at the end of the quote, with a space separating it from the existing text.
3. sudo update-grub
4. Reboot and dump log to file: dmesg > dmesg.txt
