GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error

Linux Mint 18 Sarah
Kernel 4.16.9 & 4.15.17 both exhibit this behavior.
X displays is now freezing somewhat randomly as I use firefox & xterms.

Lenovo T460 laptop

Dmesg logs this
