It seems like the panel doesn't recognize that the GPU is putting it in a
self-refresh mode. We can read PSR sink status DPCD when the screen is idle
through ssh and confirm if the sink has entered PSR.
We could perhaps try disabling CRC too as a way to configure a safer setup. I'd
also recommend not using the fastboot command line option for debug purpose.
