Summary: MacBook w/ Mobile GM965/GL960 hangs very long on boot
Product: DRI
Version: XOrg git
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: DRM/Intel
Assignee: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: rene at exactcode.de

While I think this vintage MacBook4,1 worked flawlessly when I used it as daily
machine a decade ago, now, since a long time, with latest kernels it hangs very
long on boot when the i915 module is loaded, so long that I thought it was
panic'ed and crashed the first time I tried it. Also xrandr hangs for a very
long time:
