Thanks for the reply Lakshmi, and for informing about the max bpc connector
patches, Ville. Let's hope those are indeed ready soon and those changes will
have an impact on this long-running issue.

I still find it curious how three pretty dissimilar systems could - even when
hooked up directly to a sink using different cables - all falsely advertise
12bpc capability though.
