Since this ticket has had a strong tendency to be ignored for several months
once the requested debug information is provided - only for it to be asked for
again when a certain time lapses and the previously-provided information is
flagged "out of date" - I ask that someone *please confirm that the necessary
information has been received* and that Intel is working on it. Or, if more
information is needed *please let me know.*

If not, it appears to me that Intel has little interest in actually solving it,
only giving the impression of doing so for posterity.

The bug was reported over three years ago, in July 2015. After which time I
have gone through numerous sources, sinks and cables while the problems
manifest themselves in precisely the same manner. The issue can always be
restored to a functioning state by reverting to the 3.x kernel branch - for
which I have also provided extensive debug output for comparison, most recently
in May 2018.
