Nothing changed, I assume that work will be done here before the fix is pushed. 

@Marteen I also tried to build the kernel with "constant_n = true;" and the
flickering is still there. I do know that a laptop with the same display panel
(Dell xps 9370) works perfectly fine under Linux. The panel is manufactured by
AUO and is the B133ZAN01.1.
