For the sake of clarity, there are also no perceptible frame drops in
Chrome/Chromium on the LVDS head (sorry, I said eDP earlier - this is an older
laptop).  The frame drops only occur 1) in Chrome/Chromium, 2) on the VGA head,
and 3) only when the VGA head CRTC is configured larger than 800x600.
