Because touch screen is working :-) and also rotation .

Your kernel config is not proper.
Add pin ctrl for gemini lake ( we have such platform ) 
Rebuild kernel and try then .

If Gemini lake config ( pin ctrl )  is "on" everything works except screen.
But on device with "b" screen everything works including screen.
