--- Comment #21 from Anshuman Gupta <anshuman.gupta at intel.com> ---
There is similar pattern in all failure platform that SOUTHPORT PCH IP is
powered on, in all success cases all SOUTHPORT IP are power gated.
SOUTHPORT essentially PCIe ports on which external devices are connected.
Below are detials platfrom on whihc SOUTHPORT PCH IP which are not power gated.
fi-icl-u2, SPC is on.
PCH IP: 6 - SPC State: On
SPC is PCIe controller 3
- Controller 3.
PCIe Port 9-12
Device 29 Function 0-3.
Supports 1x4, 2x2, 1x2 2x1 and 4x1.
Capable of GEN1, GEN2 and GEN3 data rates.
Capable of NVM remapping

fi-cfl-8109u
PCH IP: 5 - SPB State: On
PCH IP: 6 - SPC State: On
SPB is PCIe controller 2
Controller 2.
PCIe Port 5-8.
Device 28 Function 4-7.
Supports 1x4, 2x2, 1x2 2x1 and 4x1.
Capable of GEN1, GEN2 and GEN3 data rates.
Capable of NVM remapping.

fi-kbl-8809g
PCH IP: 4 - SPA State: On
SPA is PCIe controller 1
Controller 1.
PCIe Port 1 – 4.
Device 28 Function 0-3.
Supports 1x4, 2x2, 1x2 2x1 and 4x1.
Capable of GEN1, GEN2 and GEN3 data rates (LP: PCIe Port 1-4 are only GEN2
capable).
Not capable of NVM remapping
---------------------------------------------------------------------
fi-kbl-7567u
PCH IP: 4 - SPA State: On
PCH IP: 5 - SPB State: On
-------------------------------------------------------------------
fi-skl-6600u
PCH IP: 5 - SPB State: On
It requires lspci -t log on all of these platform and we need to find out what
all are connected on PCI bus on above platform.
