            Bug ID: 110986
Summary: GPU HANG: ecode 6:1:0xfffffffe, in kaffeine [2483],
                    hang on rcs0
           Product: DRI
           Version: XOrg git
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium

dmesg output, from boot

The summary is the first error in the dmesg output when I run kaffeine, and a
few seconds later, the video feed is sporadic, and a severe keyboard lock-up
occurs. The system remains accessible via ssh when this happens.

The error seems repeatable. In this situation, kaffeine is receiving
standard-definition over-the-air digital television, U.S. standard, and
displaying it via an HDMI connection in a window controlled by the Xfce
environment, under Fedora 29.

I'm using the graphics interface built into the Intel i5-2400 "Sandy Bridge"
processor.

The kernel in effect is 5.1.11-200.fc29.x86_64. It also occurs on the two
available prior kernels, 5.1.8 and 5.1.9, but for some reason, this bug seems
to have popped up recently for me.

I seem to be limited to one attachment at this time, so I'll add more later. I
may try to grab a dmesg with drm debug later.
