Can you try one simple experiment - switch to text mode(either by killing
desktop manager or by pressing ctrl-alt-f[123], adding 3 to kernel command line
in grub).
Then try to reproduce that issue - if it doesn't reproduce most likely this is
userspace issue, which we dealt with previously and which is unfortunately
still no fixed.
