I can reproduce the problem with the drm-tip branch as well. (Added the
repository as a remote and did a checkout on drm-tip and then used the PKGBUILD
and `makepkg -e` to build and install the kernel like previously)

At time of testing drm-tip was at 43905c26d4fd15cba890e62f271befc0eca8de4c.
