Steps to reproduce the issue: the screen becomes black and machine hangs after
sequence:
rmmod i915
modprobe i915 modeset=1
How often: every time
system architecture: x86_64
kernel version: 5.4.0-rc4 from drm-tip: commit
90d6ad2cbeadd27e867df4e649d61f14b4ac4b77
Linux distribution: Debian 10
Machine or mother board model: Dell Inspiron 3552
Display connector: build in screen
lspci -v -n:

I have to boot with i915.modeset=0. In other case machine hangs during startup
process.
I can reproduce this situation with rmmod i915, and then modprobe i915
modeset=1.
