Possibly worth noting that you may alternatively cherry-pick
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/merge_requests/180 into
xserver-xorg-core and test this without rebooting or even without quitting your
main X. Nevermind though if "in a few days" is caused by general business. :-)
