dmesg under 4.3.5
Upon updating to linux-4.4.1 from linux-4.3.5, Xorg is unable to run in the
native 1920x1080 resolution and instead defaults to 1027x768. Downgrading back
to the 4.3 series kernel fixes this problem.
System architecture: x86_64
Kernel version: 4.4.1
Linux distribution: Arch
Mother board model: GA-EG45M-UD2H with onboard Intel GMA X4500HD
Display connector: HDMI
Distro driver and Xorg details:
xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+519+g8229390
libva-intel-driver 1.6.2
mesa 11.1.1
xorg-server 1.18.0
Attached are 4 files, matched pairs of dmesg+Xorg.log under 3.4.5 and 4.4.1
with the debug kernel flag 'drm.debug=0x1e log_buf_len=1M' in the grub line.
Please let me know if you need additional info.</pre>
