Hi,
I tried replying to your email directly but it bounced.
Thank-you so much for replying. I really appreciate any help I can get. I tried
to install and I'm getting the following errors:
---
paul@seunga:~$ intel-linux-graphics-installer
Failed to connect to Mir: Failed to connect to server socket: No such file or
directory
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
(intel-linux-graphics-installer:10616): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
---
I guess this is because I am running from a terminal without an X session? I
have a very minimal Xorg setup to run Kodi only. Is there a command line option
for installing? I couldn't find reference to one in the forums on the site.
Also, how does this differ from the kernel drivers? Looking at the packages
,they look the same as far as I can see? If I'm running kernel 4.4.1, is that
more up to date?
Thanks,
Paul Morabito.
