External monitors attached through an HDMI->VGA adapter on my Lenovo Thinkpad
Yoga do not work anymore. xrandr detects that a device has been connected, but
it the correct device name is not displayed anymore, and xrandr fails to detect
the correct resolutions offered. I have not tried doing this without the
adapter, as I only have a funny mini-HDMI port.
This refers to xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+560+gd167280 and xorg-server 1.18.1.
This is a regression from xf86-video-intel-1:2.99.917+478+gdf72bc5 and
xorg-server-1.17.4, the latest version of xorg 1.17 available for my distro
(Arch Linux). None of the xorg-server-1.18 versions and compatible intel
drivers appear to work. Downgrading the packages solves the problem. However,
it also breaks my keyboard, so if you would like me to compare outputs of some
commands under the new and old versions, any hints on how to enable the
keyboard again would be very helpful.
