Why two additional outputs and not 10, or even 42? The system-default shouldn't
be just one? It is customary to have multiple outputs for HDMI and the BIOS to
disable the redundant ones? Just trying to make a sense of this :-).
As a side one, the contents of /proc/asound/HDMI/eld#0.0 seems to remain even
after forcing a disconnect on the connector. Should I file a bug report for
that?</pre>
