<pre>Right now, I have not experienced this issue anymore for at least two weeks.
I experimented with the modesetting driver, but brightness controls were broken
after resume, that is not usable for me. The "intel" driver works better.
Kernel: 4.4.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.4.6-1
Driver: intel, 2:2.99.917+git20160307-2
This combination currently works for me. YMMV. I guess the bug was fixed in the
meantime.</pre>
