<pre>I have a similar issue on a Dell 9550 with dual graphics cards, hdmi used to
work on kernel 4.4.
The latest versions of 4.5 and 4.6 freeze the system when on running on X.
When running on Wayland the build in monitor will be black until I move the
mouse out of it.</pre>
