Unfortunately the reported modes are suspiciously similar to reduced-blanking CVT modes I've already tried before. Hooking them up in xrandr results in the same garbled image again - check the attached photo. This is just one example of distortion as interpreted by the panel controller (unidentified "Mstar" model).
