Is this native HDMI or via a DP++ dongle/cable?
If DP++, make sure your kernel has
commit b1ba124d8e95 ("drm/i915: Respect DP++ adaptor TMDS clock limit")
I pushed it around the same time as you did your last test apparently, so you
may have just missed it.
In any case, please attach a full dmesg with drm.debug=0xe passed to the kernel
command line so that we can actually see what's going on.</pre>
