<pre>Dell Precision 5510 with i7-6820HQ, running Debian unstable with Linux 4.5.3.
I have the same symptoms: flickering screen, plus "*ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO
underrun" messages when running 4.5.x, not when running 4.4.x.
Using enable_rc6=0 seems to remove both flickering and error message.</pre>
