And also if you look into the "bin" folder of that firmware update tool, you
can also see that it has an updated firmware for the MegaChips MCDP2800 LSPCON
on the ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac.

Why not just boot into Windows once just to update the firmware and then boot
back into Linux?
