Hello,
we have same problem with a Intel NUC5CPYH,  we have updated the firmware, we
changed Linux distribution with the latest, also in terms of drivers, Ubuntu
16.04 LTS. We tried all the possible parameters on Linux xfreerdp client:
change of bandwidth, change video quality, graphics-enabled aero effects and
animation windows, etc., etc. after a certain number of use RDP sessions not
clean up the windows open properly. The result is that you end up with windows
drawn to pieces that you have to click and re-to click to bring up in their
entirety.
(version bios: PYBSWCEL.86A.0050.2016.0223.1234; version driver:
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.99.917+git20160325-1ubuntu1)
Thanks</pre>
