        <pre>this right dmesg is kernel module, but getting from the boot time is better :)

Checking on your xorg.log, it looks like "Intel" module cannot be found (or
loaded).
do you have intel_drv.so located in /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/?

BTW did you encounter this issue after an update of Ubuntu or a fresh Install
of 16.04?
