<pre>The driver is designed to support contexts on all rings - since contexts
represent a view of both driver state (as well as logical state). userspace is
designed with context separation. That check breaks both badly, was documented
as being badly designed upon integration and the patch to remove it identified
as a critical prerequisite for further context/vm work.</pre>
