<pre>Interestingly, using the dp_i2c helpers doesn't seem to cause the the timeout
within intel_dp_aux_ch() function. More specifically, inside the
intel_dp_aux_wait_done() function.
That suggests that the way the edid is being read (in smaller pieces?) is
causing differences.
Btw, don't forget the native HDMI port problem.</pre>
