This issue is persistent in kernel 4.8, including the kernel v4.8x in the
latest Yakkety 16.10 build. Is there any way that a fix for this
processor/hardware combination could be added upstream so we don't end up
recompiling the kernel until the end of time here? This is a serious problem,
my laptop is almost unusuable when opregion panel support is disabled (which is
the case for every single kernel version after 4.7.4).
