The screen going black could be related to that *ERROR*.
I'm seeing something similar too (but it coincides with a very quick, well,
flashing of the screen). In my case it looks independent of this annoying
WARNING. Ie, most of these WARNINGs happen without a nearby FIFO underrun
*ERROR* and vice versa.</pre>
