<pre>What's the status on pushing out this revert? Can we please aim to get this

I've been running for 2 weeks on 4.9 with the patch in <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=96781#c20">comment #20</a>, and the
hard lockups have totally gone. This is certainly way, way better than the
current stock experience, which results in my T460s entirely locking up daily.</pre>
