<pre>It's not a reproducer I forged specifically for this issue, just an "old"
reproducer I had for another bug of mine, but the issue is happens in real life
and occurs even outside of valgrind (as found in the downstream bug I linked).
I'll rebuild the intel driver with debug enabled, see what it gives.</pre>
