<pre>How long will it take for this fix to 'trickle down' from drm-tip to an actual
kernel point release? As far as I can tell from examining the source and
Wilson's patch, the release candidate builds for 4.11 don't yet have this fix
incorporated either. This is a fairly bad problem, and marking it as 'resolved'
doesn't seem appropriate given the problem is still present with no fix for
4.10.x or even 4.11-rcx.</pre>
