<pre>Hi Elio,
I tried to reproduce this issue in my side but failed, I connected 2*DP
monitors(DELL) to MST Hub and do hot-plug for each one when DP audio is played,
both DP audio can be resumed after hot-plug event without issues.
Here is my test ENV:
======================================
Hardware
======================================
platform : SKL NUC
Pcode : NUC6i7KYK-IDD
MST Hub : StarTech
Part # : MSTMDP123DP
======================================
Software
======================================
linux OS : Ububtu 16.04 LTS
Kernel version : 4.12.0-rc4+
BTW, I'm also confusing about "closing terminal" you mentioned above, if the
terminal is closed, then audio process exit is expected.
thanks</pre>
