<pre>Adam, Dell's exe files with BIOS update can be run from Windows and FreeDOS.
You also can find "BIOS Updater" item in boot menu, run it, select this exe,
and BIOS will get updated.
As for DV8P, display of DV8P5830 works since
<a href="https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9458597/">https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9458597/</a> got merged, and display of
DV8P58305855 works since Linux 4.12rc1. This bug can be closed.</pre>
