Update for this week.
My understanding is that the issue truly affects fi-ivb-3520m and fi-snb-2520m
on the CI, but not fi-hsw-4770.
The fi-hsw-4770 should indeed skip every time since, according to the Hardware
information page, it has VGA attached, and the test requires it to be
disconnected:
igt_skip_on(vga_connector->connection == DRM_MODE_CONNECTED);
On my HSW, I can hit the issue sometimes with VGA disconnected, but I wasn't
lucky enough to catch it after setting debug information. I'm checking the
kernel for spots where it might be racing and reporting bad information about
connectors. Tips are appreciated.</pre>
