<pre>According <a href="https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1463085">https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1463085</a> and
<a href="https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196233">https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196233</a> it seems this problem is
reported only on Asus laptop UX305UA, UX305U and UX306U
In my case I have UX305UA and I did not have any problem with kernel 4.11.4 and
previous. The problem has been introduced by kernel 4.11.5 and following. I am
affirmative about that.
I attach journalctl of failing boot with kernel 4.11.12 with parameter
drm.debug=0xe on grub boot options.
Message "[drm:drm_calc_timestamping_constants [drm]] *ERROR* crtc 31: Can't
calculate constants, dotclock = 0!" is present since 4.11.5</pre>
