If I run the kms_frontbuffer_tracking tests from the current IGT on a 4.2
vanilla kernel (4.2 was release around the time when igt@64590c7b7 was merged)
all tests fail.
If I run igt@64590c7b7 on 4.2 kernel some of the pinpointed test consistently
fail others consistently pass.
If I run igt@64590c7b7 on 4.13-rc3 kernel all kms_frontbuffer_tracking tests
fail.
So, in a we do indeed have a regression here. However, it seems that both the
tests and the kernel have diverged so much during 2 years that it will not make
sense to do a bisect.
Instead I will need to do some timing experiments to see what is actually going
on.
