eDP1 is the laptop screen.
DP1 is the first display port of the docking station.
I don't know what the other disconnected ports are ie (DP2, DP3, HDMI 1, 2 or
3).
The port names are different when using the AMD video and I don't know how to
map between the two.
I meant to also mention, enabling or disabling the eDP1 laptop screen does not
impact the functionality of the second display port on the docking station.
I have also tried un-plugging & re-plugging the display port cable while the
system is running, this does not produce any output in dmesg.
I have also tried removing & restoring power from the second monitor while the
system is running, this also does not produce additional output in dmesg.</pre>
